Fatal motorcycle crash in northern Ont.

A 60-year-old has died following a motorcycle crash Thursday at the intersection of Highway 17 and Second Avenue in the Greater Sudbury community of Coniston on Thursday, provincial police say.

On July 18 shortly after 9:30 p.m., officers from the Nipissing West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pick-up and motorcycle, said police in a news release Saturday.

“A 60-year-old person from Sudbury has died,” said the OPP.

Police said the crash is still under investigation and no details have been released on the cause of the incident or the victim's identity.
