This is the final weekend of campaigning before next Thursday's vote.

Rounding out the list of voting districts we're following closely here in the north east is the riding Of Parry Sound-Muskoka.

Situated on Georgian Bay, Lake Nipissing is north east of the riding, with the Muskoka Lakes and the Lake of Bays to the south.

Prominent towns include Parry Sound, Huntsville, Bracebridge and Gravenhurst.

The area has been a Progressive Conservative stronghold for years, with incumbent Norm Miller holding the seat since 2001.

His father, Frank Miller was the MPP in the riding for 14 years in the 70's and 80's.

Norm Miller has been the PC party critic for northern development and mines.

His opposition for the June 7th vote includes the following candidates:

Running for the Liberals is Brenda Rhodes, the Executive Director for the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce.

Matt Richter of the provincial Green Party is a teacher and no stranger to running in the riding. He's contested the seat in the past three elections.

Erin Horvath of the New Democratic Party is from Huntsville. She's the executive director of New Vision Unlimited and specializes in collaborative community development.

Joshua McDonald will represent the “None of the Above” Direct Democracy Party.

Jeff Mole will run as an Independent in the riding.

And Christopher Packer, who lives in Ajax, but vacations in the Muskoka area, will run as a Libertarian.
