'Do not approach': North Bay police searching for robbery, assault suspect

North Bay police are looking for a woman who is accused of robbing a local business and assaulting employees and are warning the public to not approach her if spotted.

The alleged robbery happened around 3:15 p.m. June 9 at a business in the 100-block of McIntyre Street West, North Bay Police Service said in a news release Wednesday.

"The suspect was not armed, but assaulted employees of the business. The victims suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries as a result," police said.

She is described as having white skin, light brown hair, and a slim build. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a purple sweater with the brand name PINK printed on the front and right sleeve in white lettering.

"Anyone with information that could identify the suspect in this case, including their possible whereabouts or security camera footage from the area around the time of the incident, is asked to contact the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555 and press 9 to speak with an officer," police said.

"If seen, do not approach, contact the North Bay Police Service. Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Near North Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477."
