The body of 75-year-old Robert Keskinen was found in his Kathleen Street apartment on Boxing Day of 2020.

Felicity Altiman, 43, is on trial for second-degree murder and will not take the stand in her own defence.

Earlier, the court heard that fingerprint and DNA evidence tied Altiman to the crime scene. She was at the building the night Keskinen was stabbed to death, leaving a party in one of the units and returning later in different clothes.

Among other items, she returned with a new pair of winter boots believed to belong to the murder victim. A pair of bloody jeans were also found in the building's hallway.

On Friday, the jury will hear closing addresses from the Crown and the defence.

The judge is expected to make his final charge on Monday or Tuesday before the jury begins deliberations.
