SUDBURY – Top level curling action continues in North Bay with the Pinty's Grand Slam Event, going on until Sunday.

On October 25, some of the northern Ontario favourites took a break in between matches to meet fans and sign autographs.

Team Brad Jacobs was at a Northern Credit Union brand, signing flags and snapping pictures with people.

The 2014 Olympic Gold Medal winners say there are some little things they want to improve on before hitting the ice for their next matchup, but before that, they wanted to take some time to meet their fans.

"Team Jacobs has a lot of support in Northern Ontario as well as all over Canada, and being new to the team, I've got a chance to meet a lot of their supporters and their family and friends… any chance we have to come out and shake some hands and meet a few people in northern Ontario is important to our team," said Marc Kennedy, Team Jacobs Third.

The tournament is set to wrap up on Sunday with the men's and women's finals.

Team Jacobs head off to Nova Scotia next.
