CTV Northern Ontario's annual Feeding Families campaign heading to North Bay next week

CTV Northern Ontario will be live on location in the community collecting donations to stock the shelves of local food banks this month.

One in five Canadians wake up hungry and CTVNorthernOntario.ca is rallying the community again this year to help families that need it most.

Oct. 2 at Pino's Get Fresh in Sault Ste. Marie, in support of St. Vincent Place

Pino's collection for the food bank will continue the for all of October.

Oct. 16 at Giant Tiger on Lasalle Boulevard in Sudbury in support of Sudbury Food Bank

CTV News Northern Ontario weather specialist Tony Ryma talked with Geoffrey Lougheed of the Lougheed Foundation, Joe Drago from the Inner City Home of Sudbury and the local food bank's executive director, Dan Xilon, about the importance of the food bank, its growing demand and how important donations are.
