Highway 101 in Timmins reopened after single-vehicle crash
Highway 101 East in Timmins is reopened after being closed in both directions due to a single-vehicle crash Sunday.
The crash happened early Sunday morning, the Timmins Police Service (TPS) said in a news release.
Police have not released any details about what caused the crash or if there are any injuries or charges pending.
CTV News has reached out to TPS for more information about the incident but has yet to receive a response.
CTV News Northern Ontario journalist Lydia Chubak confirmed the highway was closed at Father Costello Drive in Schumacher.
Area residents told CTV News that multiple police vehicles, including a forensic van, were visible at the scene around 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
