A 39-year-old-man charged in a Sudbury murder from 1998 made a brief appearance Thursday at the Sudbury courthouse via video link from the district jail.

Robert Steven Wright has been charged with first-degree murder last December in connection to the stabbing death of Renee Sweeney. He is also facing one count of possession of child pornography.

His lawyers are still awaiting full disclosure from the Crown Attorney’s Office outlining the evidence in the case.

Wright was denied bail in March and remains in custody at the Sudbury Jail awaiting trial.

The case has been adjourned for three weeks.
