SUDBURY -- Six people received minor injuries Oct. 31 when a commercial vehicle struck their SUV around 10 a.m. just north of Englehart.

The SUV was parked on the shoulder of Highway 11 in the Township of Chamberlain when the crash occurred.

Temiskaming Ontario Provincial Police, as well as fire and ambulance, responded to the crash.

"All six occupants from the SUV were transported to hospital by ambulance and sustained minor injuries," police said Monday in a news release.

The highway was reduced to one lane and was fully re-opened shortly after 11:30 a.m.

The driver of the commercial vehicle, a 20-year-old resident of Mississauga, has been charged with careless driving.
