SUDBURY – The Jerry O'Connell TV series 'Carter' that was shot in North Bay has returned for its second season.

The season was filmed during the spring and summer.

The series revolves around fictional actor Harley Carter, whose career has a meltdown in Hollywood, and so has returned to his hometown to solve crime cases with an old friend who is now a detective.

In an interview on CTV's Your Morning, O'Conell professed his love for North Bay.

"It really meant a lot to us. We were in North Bay. What's up North Bay? We love shooting up there. It's a beautiful part of the world," he expressed.

The new season began with back-to-back episodes on October 25 on the CTV Drama channel.
