Captured on Camera: Moose trio running through a northern Ont. neighbourhood

Share

A northern Ontario woman has captured rare footage of three moose travelling through a neighbourhood in the Greater Sudbury community of Garson earlier this month.

Jenny Leigh recorded the video of the small herd in the area of Ravina Avenue on the morning of Nov. 6.

This fall has been an exciting one for moose sightings in Sudbury – last month a pair of moose hung out at Sudbury high school soccer field before heading to the local indie cinema.

Leigh shared the video publicly on her personal social media page and it has since been shared more than 100 times and has racked up thousands of views.

She had just put her children on the school bus before she saw the trio and said the whole situation was “pretty crazy.”

“They froze when they saw me and I backed up not sure if they would charge,” said Leduc in the comments of her post.
