SUDBURY -- It is a devastating end to a search for a missing northern Ontario senior; provincial police say the body found last weekend is that of 68-year-old Gregory Dunn, who has been missing for 10 days.

On May 23, police received a call about human remains found in a small northern town near the Quebec border. Police originally reported the remains were found in the Township of Harris, but now say the location was actually in the Township of Casey, which is just a bit more north. Both are less than 20 minutes northeast from his hometown of Temiskaming Shores.

Officials said Thursday that the post-mortem conducted in Sudbury revealed the identity of the victim, but the cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Const. Jennifer Smith says no foul play is suspected, but an investigation is continuing.

OPP have been searching for Dunn, who was last seen on May 18 in Haileybury.

Anyone with information relating to this investigation is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
