SUDBURY -- Sudbury police are investigating a robbery at the Scotiabank in the community of Dowling on Friday.

Police officials say a man entered the bank with a knife before 2 pm and demanded cash from a clerk at the counter.

The suspect is said to have left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say no one was injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as being a white male, wearing dark clothing, and a baseball cap.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing. Officers remain in the area and are canvassing for information andvideo surveillance footage.
