Some people had some anxious moments after being stranded in Greater Sudbury for a few hours on the weekend.

Police say around 9:30 pm Saturday evening, nine ATV riders became stuck along a pole-line, north of Capreol.

After learning one of the riders was having health issues, officers tried to get to the group, but were unsuccessful.

Finally, a vehicle called 'The Sherp', on loan from Lopes Limited, was able to access the rides and bring them to safety at 7:30 am Sunday morning.

No one was injured.
