He was released on an appearance notice and will be in the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on Oct. 6.

The vehicle was impounded for seven days and the drivers licence was subject to a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension.

"This incident marks 29 drivers charged under the criminal impaired driving laws in the North Bay detachment," police said.

"If you suspect that someone is driving or about to drive impaired by alcohol or drugs, please call 911 to report it."
