Two men have been charged with attempted murder and various weapons charges following a weekend shooting on Manitoulin Island.
Police say it happened around 11 pm Saturday night in the Hills Trail area of the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory.
They say a man was found at a home with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen and is now listed in stable condition in hospital.
Police later rounded up two men, aged 18 and 20, in connection with the incident.
The men are scheduled to appear in bail court Wednesday.
