Members of the South Porcupine Detachment of Ontario Provincial Police stopped a vehicle on Highway 144 near Hazen Lake on Jan. 14.

“(A) 49-year-old driver was issued four offence notices including stunt driving,” police said in a Facebook post Sunday.

The image accompanying the post indicates the vehicle was travelling 134 kilometres an hour (km/h) while 80 km/h is the posted speed limit in that area of Highway 144.

In addition to offence notices, the driver’s licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded, police said.

“Slow down and drive safe,” the OPP said in their social media posts about the incident.
