Ontario Provincial Police in North Bay have charged a 30-year-old man after finding an unconscious man lying on the ground at the Astorville Arena in East Ferris Township.
Police received a call about an alleged assault around 1:20 on Sunday morning.
When they arrived, police say they found a 49-year-old man lying on the ground unconscious. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
As a result of an investigation, police arrested and charged a 30-year-old local man with aggravated assault.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is set to appear in North Bay court on February 12th.
