Videojournalist, Sault Ste. Marie

Lincoln is a videojournalist with CTV News Northern Ontario in Sault Ste. Marie.

Lincoln has strong local ties as he grew up in Echo Bay, and attended Central Algoma Secondary School in Desbarats. He spent three years at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario where he earned his Broadcast Journalism Diploma in 2007 and Television News certificate in 2008.

Lincoln was named Fanshawe College Sports Broadcaster of the Year 2006-2007. Before joining CTV, he spent time as a Fanshawe Colleges sports PA Announcer, a colour commentator for the Strathroy Rockets and weekend news anchor for 105.7 myFM, and a photojournalist for Rogers First Local.

Since returning home Lincoln has covered a number of major sports stories including the 2012 CARHA World Cup of Hockey, and two local NHL players bringing the Stanley Cup home to the Algoma region. Tyler Kennedy had the Cup in Sault Ste. Marie in 2009 after winning with the Pittsburgh Penguins, and Jordan Nolan brought the Cup to Garden River in 2012 after winning with the Los Angeles Kings. Lincoln has also led our coverage of Team Brad Jacobs as they climbed the ranks of Canadian men's curling. He travelled with them to the 2011 Brier in London, Ontario and most recently to Victoria, British Columbia where they competed in the Ford Men's World Curling Championships after their win at the 2013 Brier.

Lincoln’s hobbies include playing and watching most sports. Growing up he was all about hockey.  Now his summers are spent on the golf course. He also enjoys watching movies and reading.

Lincoln lives in Sault Ste. Marie with his wife Jen.
