Members of Temiskaming Ontario Provincial Police commenced an investigation into multiple sexual assaults on July 17, 2019.
The alleged incidents occurred over a 20 year span between 1998 and 2019, involving two separate victims in Cobalt, Coleman and Temiskaming Shores.
In result of the investigation, a 77-year-old person from Cobalt has been charged with:
- Sexual Assault (four counts)
- Voyeurism
- Sexual Interference (two counts)
- Invitation to Sexual Touching Under 16 Years of Age
The accused has been released and is to attend court at a later date in Temiskaming Shores.
