A woman from the Parry Sound area is over a $11 million richer.
Doreen Fleury of McDougall Township, north of Parry Sound, is one of the two jackpot winners from last week's Lotto 6/49 draw.
Not only does she share the $22 million top prize with someone who bought a ticket in the Barrie area, she also won $5 on another selection on the same ticket.
That ticket was purchased at Hillcrest Grocery on William Street in Parry Sound.
Last week, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation said in a release that one of the two winning tickets was sold in the Sudbury area, but CTV News confirmed with Dita Kuhtey, OLG's manager of media relations, that currently includes retailers in the Parry Sound area.
Kuhtey says that due to the small number of lottery retailers in the Parry Sound area, despite the geographical distance, they are grouped in the Sudbury region for OLG verification purposes.
