Police are searching for a woman involved in a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon in Greater Sudbury's Flour Mill area.

Police officials said the three vehicle collision happened at the Notre Dame Avenue and Kathleen Street intersection.

Two people involved in the collision were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Sudbury police said a woman involved in the collision fled the scene on foot before officers arrived.

She is described as approximately 25-year-old, dirty blonde hair, white shirt, black pants and possible cuts to the face and head.

Police urge anyone with any information to contact the department

Tow trucks have cleared the damaged vehicles from the area and the intersection is clear.
