You've heard of a million dollar smile ?
Well this is a million dollar group of Sudbury neighbours and friends.
"We just really clicked as soon as we moved on to the street and then we decided to start the lottery and two years later we end up winning." said Mike Crepeault of the Sudbury area community of Garson.
And they won big.
"It was 10 million dollars, but he looks at me and says count those zeros, oh my god, we won the lottery, we won!" recalled Sherry Crepeault.
Of course, their win is unique as all 26 people involved in the group lottery club live on the same street.
"It was like a dream come true meeting great friends, it was like winning the lottery and on October 13th this year we won the lotto max lottery and it was the second time basically I feel that we won the lottery." said Adam Webber.
The close-knit group, members of 14 different families, have been playing the lottery together for the past two years, but Amber Fournier says they have known one another much longer.
“We're like more like family than friends I would say, um, we all are together for every major moment in everybody's life."
That would include today's huge cheque presentation for 10-million dollars.
This group of firefighters, miners, hairdressers, nurses, and teachers will each take home just under 400-thousand dollars.
"More toys, more toys, more toys. Local dealerships I'm coming." said one of the winning group.
"Back in May, I proposed to Kyla to be my wife, she said yes, we had that going on. Then winning the lottery now makes everything so much more easier financially for us, and a lot of weight off our shoulders." said Trevor Gibbons
“We are mortgage free and my wife and I bought new vehicles, and the rest is kids' education and to retire early." said Eric Fournier.
But the newly-minted millionaires also have immediate plans to enjoy the money this weekend in Toronto, so the celebrations just beginning.
