The Provincial government says its committing $5 million more to the $30 million francophone arts centre planned for downtown Sudbury.
The arts centre is to be called Place des Arts. The facility will house a 300 seat performance hall, as well as an art gallery.
The Federal government is also contributing funds to this new arts centre. The organizers say they already have commitments that amount to half of their fundraising goal.
