A federal offender wanted on a Canada wide warrant has been arrested in Timmins.

The Timmins Police Service said officers arrested Elliott Sullivan this past weekend.

The arrest follows a Canada Wide Warrant and media release issued on April 27 by the Ontario Provincial Police’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad.

Sullivan was arrested by members of the Timmins Police Service’s drug enforcement unit, with assistance from members of uniform patrol.

The 36-year-old was wanted on a Canada wide warrant for breach of parole.

Sullivan is serving a four-year sentence for weapons trafficking, aggravated assault, break and enter, uttering death threats, theft under $5000, fail to comply with undertaking and fail to appear.
