A teenager was killed in an ATV collision this past weekend in Seguin Township.
In a media release issued on Thursday, the Ontario Provincial Police said the single vehicle crash happened on Nipissing Road on October 11. Police were called to the scene at 5:30 p.m.
An ATV travelling along the road left the roadway and struck a utility pole, according to police.
“The driver, Nicholas Isaac, 17 years of age, was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased,” reads a statement from the OPP.
“OPP Technical Collision Investigators were deployed to the scene and are assisting in the investigation.”
A post-mortem examination is expected to take place, but has not yet been scheduled.
Police officials said the investigation is ongoing.
